About The Festival The inaugural Laurier New Music Festival has the double function of celebrating the achievements of many of Laurier’s 150+ contemporary music alumni and engaging Kitchener-Waterloo’s general public and our current students with them. The festival will feature top-notch performances by the Penderecki String Quartet, the Thin Edge New Music Collective, Ensemble Paramirabo, the Wilfrid Laurier Symphony Orchestra and Paul Pulford and is being organized in collaboration with NUMUS Concerts and Wilfrid Laurier University Library.
